What Customers Say About Yellow, Volume 3:

Ok. And the ending to this one is very satisfactory. Your constantly thinking are they or arent they. You actually get into the plot of this book.

It's actually pretty cool. Nice and angsty.just the way I like it. I'd call him confused. Well in the third book enter Taki's guardian's with a very big family secret. They track down drugs for a living. It's true that this manga series teases the crap out of you with the first two manga's.

This series follows two men,( Goh and Taki) one very very openly gay(Goh) and the other one.not so much(taki of course). And it might be enough to tear these two apart forever. Then the weirdest thing happens. Imagine that a smutty yaoi manga with plot.

;-)Yellow has an excellent story and the drawings are gorgeous. As such the story is quite action packed and Goh and Taki have to avoid some pretty dangerous situations. The last two volumes on the other hand are one big story which reveals a lot about Goh's and Taki's past. But that doesn't keep Goh from trying his luck with Taki.Volumes 3 and 4 are a little bit different than volumes 1 and 2.

Goh and Taki are some kind of 'good thieves'. There's also a lot of humor in this series. And thus I strongly recommend to only read volume 3 when you already have also bought volume 4, because when volume 3 ends you'll be desperate to read volume 4 straight away. They steal mostly drugs from the bad guys.

The first two volumes consist of shorter stories that focus mainly on the different jobs Goh and Taki have to carry out. Overall an excellent yaoi. They don't know much about their employers, but there are hints that they are hired by the police. But as a team they can rely on one another. On the personal level it's a little bit more complicated as Goh is gay and Taki straight.

Gone are the fun, the humour, the light hearted adventures, replaced by endless tears and guilt, back in the obnoxious routine of a genre made to please romance loving straight women more than gay men.I guess I should just give up the whole genre. This review covers episodes 2 to 4 which are very much alike.I was delighted with the first one: gone were the womanish, delicate characters so common in other yaoi, replaced by two strong, witty males involved in dangerous adventures.I do not know why but with her second episode the author, instead of pursuing this fun filled path, gradually making her two men fall for each other, decided to take a very serious turn for melodrama.Taki has a heart rending -and uninteresting- past that comes back to literally hunt him.

I love this series, and it was totally awesome. Thank you sooo much.

^_^ If you like yaoi, you should buy the whole series. Makoto Tateno really knows how to get you into a story and leave you wanting more. It's a great volume in a great series.
